Why Become a Member?

Membership is for any individual or group who believes in the mission of Be Outdoors Arizona and wants to make a difference in the community. As an individual member you can:

• Discuss and help shape the shared beliefs of BOAZ
• Participate on committees, including governance
• Host membership drives as part of your events
• Apply the strategies of BOAZ to your programs
• Participate regularly in activities in parks and other natural environments
• Set up booths/areas at your community events to promote BOAZ

Individual membership annual benefits include:

• Participation in networking base
• Invitations to attend meetings
• Participation in committees

Organizational memberships provide:

• Unlimited number of members to join within organization
• Provides a link to your organizations website from the Be Outdoors Arizona website
• Participation in networking base
• Invitations to attend meetings
• Participate on committees

Annual Dues

Individual Tier: $25

Organizational Tier:

• Operating budget of less than $100,000: $150
• Operating budget of less than $500,000, and government agencies: $350
• Operating budget of over $500,000: $500

As with any new and growing organization, these dues may change as benefits are added and membership grows. This structure, however, will remain in effect for at least one year.

Although Be Outdoors Arizona still has many “unknowns”,  our core values and vision have remained constant. Most of us have or will join because we truly believe in the mission. Thanks to everyone in advance as we move forward in this exciting endeavor.
